My Final Weekend...

...as an unemployed lady that is!

Friday

As I said Thursday, being that the weather was supposed to be bad Thursday night into Friday morning, we weren't sure if we would be making our previously scheduled day trip to Winona. Especially when we woke up Friday morning & all the roads from Rochester to Winona were labeled "difficult". We waited and around 10am, they changed to good, so we decided to hit the road.



We got there around noon & went out for lunch with Hannah & Josh at Sammy's. It's a pizza and pasta and burgers place and was super yummy. We then went shopping & hung out for a while.

Saturday

My mom & I went shopping in the morning & scored a ton of deals! Like a bag of chopped lettuce for  22 cents & a bottle of Ken's salad dressing for 25 cents at Cub and the Schick Hydro Silk razors I use at K-mart for $3.99 (they're usually $10, but thanks to a sale for $8.99 & my $5.00 off coupon, I made these a steal!). I may have become obsessed with using coupons. And I found some more deals for this week at Walgreens.

Sunday

I went out for brunch with my sisterhood (Caitlin is back from England for the week). We originally went to The Loop because we heard they have a delicious brunch menu. Well, we get there and order our orange juice and the menu has like six things on it, none of which were advertised on their website. So we promptly asked for our checks after spending $2.50 on orange juice & headed down the street to Pannekoeken for the Eggs Benedict we so desperately wanted. And it was definitely worth it! MMMM....
The rest of the day I literally laid in bed & watched Netflix because it was slushy & sleety & cloudy & rainy ALL DAY.

Sorry for the lame post. I've just been feeling extremely lazy lately. Hey, at least I'm honest.
