- Take every opportunity and interview that comes your way, but trust your heart when it tells you that something may not be the right choice. Your heart always knows best.
- Stretch your comfort zone. Search for jobs outside your immediate area. Opportunities arise where you least expect them.
- Not getting an offer from somewhere you interview does not make you less of a human or less of a nurse.
- Being jobless/taking time off for over a year isn't such a bad thing. That time off can give you life experience and give you time to find your direction.
- Never lose your thirst for knowledge. Just because you aren't in school doesn't mean you have to stop learning. Even though you didn't get a degree in something, find a way to integrate that passion into your career.
- Being an adult doesn't mean you can't have solo dance parties in your apartment. Or that you have to stop listening to Hannah Montana.
- Having a blog doesn't have to be embarrassing. In fact, a lot of people will think it's pretty cool. (Still working on this one.)
- Listen to people's stories. They will change you for the better.
- Don't apologize for something you shouldn't. Stand up for yourself and stand firm in your beliefs and actions.
- Be irresponsible with your money once. Spend an ungodly amount on clothes and other things you probably don't need.
What would you tell yourself if you had to graduate again?
Hey, Breanna ! I'm a new follower on GFC! If I were to graduate I'll probably tell myself to study more and take in what I'm actually learning because they're really useful when you go into the real world.
ReplyDeleteI'd love it if you can follow me back! :)
