Sweet Silver Lining: Liebster Award

I was nominated for a Liebster Award by a fellow blogger and a fellow Bre - Bre at Blog By Bre.

This award is given to up and coming bloggers with less than 200 followers. Liebster is German and means sweetest, kind, lovely, endearing, and welcome. THANKS FOR MY FIRST AWARD BRE!

1. What would the lineup be at your ideal concert?

I think everyone who knows me knows I LOVE country music. So my lineup would probably include (in no order) Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Nicolle Galyon, Lauren Alaina, Skylar Laine, and maybe throw in a little Everly and Katy Perry for good measure. Man, that would be one expensive (but FABULOUS) concert!

2. What's your dream job?

I have to say I'm pursuing my dream job by becoming a nurse, but, if I could sing worth a dime, I would want to pursue music.

3. Name three people who have impacted your life the most.

This one's hard! Can I choose groups of people? Well, I'm going to. My cousins, my nursing class, and my senior year roomies.

4. What was the best year of your life (so far)?

2011. Hands down. I completed my first year of nursing school, lived on my own with a bunch of girls in a house, participated in my college commencement, started clinicals at Mayo Clinic, and grew a TON as a nurse.

5. What's the riskiest thing you've done?

Again, related to nursing, change my major from Elementary Education to Nursing midway through my sophomore year of college. You can read all about that story here.

6. What would be the title of your autobiography?

Probably the title of my blog: Sweet Silver Lining. It represents that even though I've gone through a lot, my life has turned out for the best and the experiences I have had have made my life a little more sweet.

7. What is your favorite meal at a restaurant?

I love Mexican so give me a taco salad and a margarita (or two) and I'm a happy camper.

8. Dress up, or dress down?

I love to be comfortable, but I take advantage of the times when I can dress up and look nice.

9. What would you rather have - a personal chef or a housekeeper?

Probably a housekeeper because I love to cook anyway, so I wouldn't mind doing that.

10. If money was no object, where would you like to go on vacation?

I'd do a trip around the world visiting Nashville, Tybee Island, Wilmington, Seattle, Los Angeles, Italy, Paris, London, and Croatia.

11. Describe your perfect home.

Well, first a happy little family: a husband, a little boy, and a little girl. My house would look like this (thanks to Pinterest):
