Blogger vs. Non-blogger Thinking

I'm probably not alone in this, but - do you ever think that bloggers have there own way of life/thinking that is completely opposite of non-bloggers?

Therefore I give you the following situations that separates the distinct breed of bloggers versus non-bloggers:

Food

Non-blogger: Oh, my gosh! Yum! I'm going to devour this delicious food right now! I'm starving!

Blogger: Oh, my gosh! Yum! I can't wait to dig right...crap! I forgot to Instagram it before I started eating! *snap snap*

Clothes

Non-blogger: Man, I feel gross today. Sweats & a t-shirt it is!

Blogger: Man, I feel gross today. But it's Wednesday, I need to look presentable for my WIWW post.

Relationships

Non-blogger: I hope this guy doesn't think I'm a weirdo...

Blogger: I hope this guy doesn't mind if I blog about him tomorrow...

Coffee

Non-blogger: I think I'll just throw a K-Cup in the Keurig today & fill up this mug I got from Grandma last Valentine's Day.

Blogger: "I'll take a Venti Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Iced Latte, no whip". I can't wait to Instagram a picture with my Starbucks, new manicure, mint skinny jeans, and flats.

As if it isn't obvious from these photos, I have a coffee problem...

Crafting

Non-blogger: This looks pretty cool. I should try this sometime. That reminds me: I need to pick up some Scotch tape at the store tomorrow.

Blogger: This looks pretty cool. And it would make a great DIY post for next week! I need to restock my Washi tape collection, as well.

Painting nails

Non-blogger: Cool, this NYC nail polish is only $0.99. And I love the color.

Blogger: I love this $7.99 Essie nail polish. Mint Candy Apple is my favorite!

P.S.: I am in no way making fun of any specific blogger. In fact, most of these blogger thoughts are making fun of myself, if I'm being honest....probably why I could find so many of my own pictures to go along with each thought :)

  10. Yes, yes, and yes! Also, I'm constantly trying to make room for my camera in my diaper bag in case I have any blog worthy moments happen while I'm out and about. People often look at me strangely when I pull my giant DSLR out of my bag while on errands....I'm all, "I'm a blogger, whaddya want?!"

  11. So true! No matter what I'm doing, I'm turning into a blog post (which may or may not actually be written) in my head.
